Mohammad Yassin
I’m a second-year student in the Data Science and Analytics (DSAN) program at Georgetown University. I grew up in Ramallah, Palestine, and completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science with a minor in Data Analytics at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York. Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in the intersection of data, technology, and real world impact. I am particularly drawn to applied data science, product-focused analytics, and using data to support ethical and human-centered decision making. The DSAN program has been a natural fit for me, as it emphasizes both technical rigor and meaningful policy and societal applications. Outside of academics, I enjoy watching and playing soccer, exploring new food spots, and watching films. I’m excited to learn and collaborate with all of you.
Bilal Malik
Hi, I’m Bilal! I’m a data science student who spends a lot of time making sense of messy data and occasionally arguing with models until they behave. I’m a bit of a renaissance guy, so you’ll usually find me bouncing between data, art and music. As a student ambassador, I’m excited to help build a welcoming community within DSAN and connect with fellow students.
