Academics
The program emphasizes the inherently interdisciplinary nature of data science by addressing a broad range of applications across academic areas to provide students with a broad set of transferrable skills.
Students in the M.S. in Data Science & Analytics program must successfully complete 30 credits and maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.00, as well as meet all curriculum requirements.
Students may enroll on a full-time or part-time basis, but full-time enrollment is strongly encouraged. There is a three-year window to complete the program. It is possible for a student to graduate in as little as 12 calendar months taking 12 credits per semester (overload). Most students take 9 credits per semester and graduate in 16 months to two years.
